What is a Doodle or Doodling?

A Doodle is any breed, like Labrador Retriever or Bernese Mountain Dog, that has been bred with a Poodle. The size of the Poodle parent is a great indicator of the size of puppies. We use mostly Standard Poodles, so our Doodles are larger sized, or Standard on the size scale. Our Labradoodle puppies are solid, dual colored and tri-colored, with possibilities of merle, phantom, and tuxedo coloring. The unique colors make for beautiful and unusual doodles.

Our Bernedoodles are dual and tri-color, with those highly sought after Bernese traits—block head, black and white patterning, beautiful curly locks and long legs.

Doodles are famous for wonderful personalities, being playful but not high-strung, intelligence and dedication.

—F1 Labradoodle (50% Labrador Retriever, 50% Poodle)
—light to medium curls, can shed very lightly, probably not the best fit for those with allergies

When you breed an F1 Labradoodle to a different Poodle that =
—F1b Labradoodle (25% Labrador Retriever, 75% Poodle)
—medium to very curly, very little or no shedding, great fit for those with allergies

When you breed an F1 Labradoodle to an F1 Labradoodle that =
—F2 Labradoodle (also 50% Labrador retriever, 50% poodle)
—medium to very curly, very, very little or no shedding, great fit for those with allergies

When you breed at least a 3rd generation Doodle to at least a 3rd generation Doodle that =
—Multi-generation Doodle

Doodle coats range from Straight/Flat, Wavy/Shaggy to Curly/Wool Coat is pretty much determined by the amount of Poodle in the lineage.
